How does comic art address the issue of migration? At the intersection of cultural history and the history of immigration, the mobile exhibition Sortir des cases (Thinking outside the boxes) focuses on the authors who have progressively taken up this subject. It also highlights a dual evolution: comic narratives have changed over time, as have the representations of migration and the foreigner.

Borders : Observing the Margins to Question the World explores the complex and evolving concept of the border. On a global scale, the exhibition examines its multiple uses: as a source of profit and exploitation, a means of subsistence, a line of demarcation, and also as a living space. It also addresses the dynamics of crossing borders, highlighting human realities that are often overlooked.

The mobile exhibition Mondes Tsiganes was taken from the temporary exhibition held at the Musée National de l’Histoire de l’Immigration in Paris in 2018. It helps to deconstruct negative images of populations viewed as foreign to the societies they live in, particularly in France.
